Tekashi 6ix9ine is ready to make his reemergence into the rap industry. And he is doing so by targeting Young Thug in an upcoming release.
6ix9ine Targets Young Thug in Diss Song Snippet
In a song snippet that he posted on Tuesday (September 9), Tekashi calls out Young Thug for being a “rat.”
“Seen a snake turn spider turn rat, don’t tell the world, just please let me out, man,” he raps in the song snippet.
Tekashi’s criticism of Young Thug comes in the wake of his interrogation audio being leaked in August. In the audio, Thugger appears to implicate YSL affiliate PeeWee Roscoe as the person behind Lil Wayne’s tour bus shooting in Atlanta in 2015.
“This m**********r Wayne from New Orleans and I’m from Atlanta. This n***a was in Atlanta while I’m in New Orleans. I said What the f**k? That was so weird. Ya’ll done shot at this n***a tour bus,” he says in the audio clip via Kurrco on X.
“I honestly don’t know who did it. They said Roscoe did it. But I don’t want to block out ya’ll case by saying Rosoe ain’t the one that did it. But I don’t know because every day he broke the f*****k law. I don’t know. I honestly don’t know.”
Amid the audio being leaked, Tekashi called out the rap industry for its hypocrisy. Noting the difference in how they clowned him for cooperating in the Treyway RICO, but are moving the goal post for Young Thug.
“Why is everybody so quiet? When all the songs are coming out, calling ya man Spider a rat?” he asked in a video posted to his social media account. “Where is all the energy from the rap community? Y’all waiting and hoping this to blow over? Hoping and praying people forget?”
“Every day, every year, every time a n—a come out, y’all move the goalpost further. Oh, nah, bro, it’s different. No, it’s different. Bro, you spoke for two hours. They literally tell you, ‘You have the right to remain silent.’”
Despite his repeated attacks, Young Thug has yet to respond to 6ix9ine.
