Clipse Set to Release New Single Produced By Pharrell

The rap group, composed of lyricists Pusha T and Malice, is set to release a new single. The track, titled Ace Trumpets will release on Friday, May 30. It will also be produced by legendary producer, Pharrell Williams. Willaims also produced their 2002 smash hit, Grindin’ — the biggest hit of the group’s career so far.

Clipse announced the new track via social media with a video trailer that features a video of a vintage photo montage of several tastemakers in the rap industry. Including Jay-Z.

Check it out here via the NFR Podcast.

Following the announcement fans went off on social media.

“If the whole album will sound this good Yeah album of the year easy,” one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Sounds hard pharrell production never misses,” one fan said while showing love to Pharrell.

“I made the ugly face watching this teaser,” another fan said.

Pusha T is one of the biggest instigators in the rap game. As hip-hop’s top antagonist, it will be interesting to see if King Push has acquired a new target on their first single of 2025.

One worthy candidate is Pusha’s former boss Kanye West, who has been critical of the “Story of Adidon,” creator recently.

West took to social media on April 29 to call out King Push. Accusing yet another person of abandoning him, when he needed help.

“Pusha T, all that tough guy sh*t. Where is the tough guy sh*t? … I bled for you, I asked for one thing: Use for your voice, your stability. People don’t think you’re crazy. People respect you. You stood on my shoulders to take Drake out,” he said during a recent live stream.

The single off their forthcoming album will release on May 30.
