The Game is always making headlines for everything other than music. However, it’s undeniable that his Documentary series is some of the finest West Coast rap of its time. Now, it appears he’s coming back with the third installment and we could get it this year.
On Instagram, The Game updated fans on the album.
“Album is 99.999999999999 done !!!! Thank you for your patience,” The Game posted.
As for who could be on the album. The Game claims YG will make an appearance after his Verzuz loss. There’s also rumors of Drake getting a feature, after reports of the two hanging out in the studio surfaced from Game’s security detail.
His recent single produced by Cool & Dre “Like Father, Like Daughter,” where he raps with his daughter, is confirmed as one of the singles on the album.
Will Kendrick Lamar Be On Game’s Album…Not Likely
The Compton rapper is also reportedly on poor terms with Kendrick Lamar.
Top Dawg claims Kendrick was upset with Game about his relationship with Drake, while Status Quo says an incident outside Dr. Dre’s studio upset Dot.
The Game pushed back on the the 3rd Verse Podcast, questioning the logic behind the claims.
He pointed out that he never took issue with Kendrick working alongside 50 Cent on an episode of Power in 2018, despite their long-standing feud.
His response suggests he does not believe the Drake incident should have been enough to damage his relationship with Kendrick.
However, on a video that detailed their alleged fall out, Game left a cryptic comment that alluded to there being beef after all.
