The Game is opening up about feeling disconnected from people he says he has supported throughout his career, including Nipsey Hussle’s brother Blacc Sam and Kendrick Lamar.
During a recent conversation, the Compton rapper revealed that he has been unable to get in contact with Blacc Sam despite his longstanding relationship with Nipsey Hussle, whom Game says he previously took on tour.
Game also expressed similar frustration when speaking about Kendrick Lamar. He pointed to his early support of Kendrick, including featuring him on a mixtape and bringing him on tour before Kendrick became one of the biggest names in Hip-Hop.
“I put Kendrick on his first mixtape, I took Kendrick on tour, I showed Kendrick nothing but love… but I can’t get on the phone with the nigga,” Game said.
Despite the lack of communication, Game made it clear that he doesn’t believe there is any real beef between himself and Kendrick. At the same time, he says he has no intention of repeatedly reaching out to someone who isn’t returning his calls.
“I ain’t gonna call that nigga every day. I ain’t no hoe,” Game added.
Game’s comments highlight how relationships within Hip-Hop can change over time, even between artists who once shared stages, collaborations and close connections early in their careers.
