The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn tour isn’t just a smash hit—it’s record-breaking.
According to Billboard, the global trek, which kicked off in 2022, has grossed an astounding $635.5 million and sold just over 5 million tickets, making it the highest-grossing R&B tour of all time. It overtakes the previous record holder, Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour, which earned $579.8 million in 2023.
Beyoncé still holds her own spot in history—her Cowboy Carter Tour remains the biggest country tour ever—but this moment belongs to The Weeknd.
The tour crossed the $600 million milestone following two shows in Philadelphia in late July. That achievement makes it only the ninth tour in history to surpass that figure, and the first ever by an R&B or Black artist. The Weeknd is also the only R&B act and Black artist to sell over 5 million tickets during a single tour.
Initially launched in support of his After Hours and Dawn FM albums, the tour expanded to also promote his latest project, Hurry Up Tomorrow. By the time it wraps on September 3 in San Antonio, Texas, it’s projected to approach $700 million in earnings, with around 5.5 million tickets sold.
