As you might expect, fans on social media had tons of reactions to Brady’s viral moment.
“Brady tried a sentence and fumbled at the one-yard line,” one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Ain’t no way Tom Brady thought that sentence was an MVP play,” another user added.
“Tom Brady almost says ‘Nickerson’, who plays for the Eagles, and the Internet collectively loses its mind,” a third user chimed in.
Despite Brady going viral in the booth, it didn’t compare to the action on the field. After being down 21-0 in the first half due to several turnovers, the Cowboys stormed back to beat the Eagles 24-21. Holding them scoreless the entire second half of the game.
The Cowboys can thank the heroics of the Dak Prescott to George Pickens connection for getting them a much-needed win on Sunday. Prescott finished with 354 yards. Nearly half of Prescott’s yardage can be attributed to Cowboys standout receiver George Pickens, who finished with 9 receptions for 146 yards and a receiving touchdown.
After receiving a lot of criticism for trading their star pass rusher, Micah Parsons, to the Green Bay Packers during the offseason, the Cowboys look like a worthy playoff contender. After sweeping the season series against the Eagles, they now sit just one game behind them for first place in the conference.
