Toosii has recently heard rumors that people think his sexuality is fluid. Instead of lashing out, the crooner rapper decided to educate his fans on the matter.
What did Toosii Say About The Rumors?
Toosii seemed to get tired of the speculation, but not for the reasons you might think. He addressed it all on his Instagram Live.
“Calling somebody gay is not an insult,” Toosii said. People try to use it as an insult, but it’s people’s sexuality. And whatever somebody’s sexuality is, it’s not an insult. So don’t try to throw it on a black man to down him because you feel like that’s gonna. That’s not gonna bring me down. What bring me down is the fact that you trying to use it as an insult while I got my son in my hand and knowing that one of these days he gonna have to get on the internet and see this. I don’t need nothing misleading. Like, oh dad, is this [being gay] wrong? Like, is it? Nah, it’s not wrong, son. At the end of the day, like you got some people who like women and you got some people who like men, son, and that’s how it is.”
The rumors reportedly stem from Toosii’s fashion choices and overall demeanor. Rapper Asian Da Brat also called him “gay” in 2024.

Due to Hip Hop’s long history of homophobia, many people found Toosii’s comments refreshing.
“Refreshing seeing a popular rapper who has a brain,” one user posted.
