We don’t even have an official release date for Drake’s Iceman album yet, and the project already has fans in a frenzy.
Toronto PD Seal Off Drake’s Iceman Sculpture
Drake put a huge ice sculpture in downtown Toronto over the weekend as part of the rollout for his highly anticipated ninth studio album. But in a clip shared by Kurrco on X, Toronto Police have already sealed off the sculpture due to public safety concerns.

In a post to his story on Monday (April 20), Drake shares a map of the location where the ice sculpture is located, accompanied by the release date caption. It appears that when the sculpture is completely melted, the release date of the new album will be revealed.
Fans didn’t want to wait for the ice to melt to get the release date. So they went to the ice sculpture to speed up the process. Using sharp objects to hack at the sculpture, and using other methods such as hairspray torches to melt the sculpture. The event started with a campfire at the top of the sculpture.
All of this was livestreamed, so the police were called to the scene and ultimately ended up sealing off the sculpture. And they, of course, were unhappy about it. And began raging about it on social media.
“Prolonging the drop of ICEMAN is crazy!” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Smart move. Last thing we need is a fan slipping, suing, and delaying the album another 6 months,” another user added.
“They ain’t stopping me, I’m bringing a flamethrower!” a third man remarked.
