A$AP Rocky‘s not guilty conviction has been the buzz around the music industry ever since the verdict was announced on February 18. And some of the more popular figures in the industry have begun to chime in.

Tory Lanez Calls Out Meghann Cunniff
Following the verdict, rap star Tory Lanez, who is currently incarcerated took a jab at one of the main reporters covering the case. He took to social media on February 20 to call her a “goofy b***h.”
This all started because rap star 50 Cent, who is a noted instigator, put out a lucrative offer amid the trial. He bet a whopping half a million dollars that Rocky would be found not guilty in the shooting trial.
Well, Cunniff took 50 up on his lucrative offer.
“I’ll take that bet,” she wrote under the Instagram post.
50 responded by telling the court that he wanted his money “by Monday,” which led to Lanez making the comment.
Tory Lanez is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence. It stems from a 2020 shooting incident involving Grammy-winner Megan Thee Stallion and her best friend Kelsey.
Even after Lanez’s conviction, the “WAP” artist has continued to apply pressure on Tory. Toward the end of last year, Megan and her attorneys filed a restraining order against the “Proud Family” artist. The restraining order alleged that Lanez is continuing to have people accost Megan from the outside, despite being incarcerated.
However, Lanez and his attorneys have vehemently denied those claims.
“[Megan] has improperly decided to use the Los Angeles County civil court to file a frivolous request for a civil harassment restraining order against Daystar Peterson, who has had zero direct contact with Ms. Pete,” the rebuttal reads.
“He does not have possession of a firearm and is unable to leave his current residence. Therefore, the incident alleged (which occurred 4.5 years ago) is no longer any form of current or future threat to the person seeking protection. There has been no direct contact of any kind”
