Tory Lanez is back! Although the rapper, birth name Daystar Peterson, is still serving a 10-year prison term for his role in a 2020 shooting. However, even while incarcerated, the rap star continues to churn out some of the top hits.
Tory Lanez Sends Message to Iggy Azalea on New Album
On March 7, Tory dropped a new album from Prison entitled Peterson, an ode to his last name. On one of the songs off the 20-track project, Tory gets candid about wanting to smooth things over with his ex-girlfriend, Amethyst Amelia Kelly. Better known as rap star, Iggy Azalea.
“It be nights I want to talk to Iggy, but she blocked me. Amethyst, if you ever hear this shit, shawty, call me. You know that I’m always makin’ spicy b*****s salty. Need to come correct ’cause all that s**t I did was faulty. I miss when you wrapped around my body like a tall tee,” he raps on the song.
Lanez also lusts over Iggy, noting that he has plans on getting intimate with her again once he is released from Prison.
“Amethyst, if you still free, shawty, let me know. Let me pick up where we left off, shawty, I’ll be yours Amethyst, if you still down, let me know .‘Cause I got plans of f*****g you when I get home,” he adds.
For those who may be tardy to the party, Tory Lanez is currently locked up for shooting rap star Megan Thee Stallion in the foot during an altercation that occurred in 2020. Ahead of Lanez’s sentencing, Iggy was one of the people who wrote character letters for Tory.
“I deeply appreciate the person he is and have never witnessed him [lose] his temper or raise his voice at a woman,” she wrote in the letter. “He’s always been incredibly respectful of me and I refuse to believe that he would do anything in malice, especially to a woman.”
