Rapper Tory Lanez is hospitalized after being stabbed by another inmate in prison, TMZ reports.

Lanez was allegedly attacked in the yard of California Correctional Institution at Tehachapi Monday morning, multiple sources told TMZ.
The motivation behind the attack has not been made available. An ambulance rushed the R&B singer to a nearby civilian hospital in Bakersfield for treatment. His current condition is unknown.
The artist is serving a 10-year sentence at the California state prison for the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.
Since going to prison, Tory Lanez has stayed busy, releasing dozens of singles since September 2023 across various “Tapes” collections. The Lost Tapes featured unreleased songs from over five years ago, shared due to uncertainty about his ability to record in prison. The Prison Tapes included tracks made behind bars before guards allegedly confiscated his equipment. He also dropped the Twitch Tapes, songs from past livestreams.
Tory Lanez also released his Peterson album on back in March, which was entirely recorded while behind bars. The incarcerated Canadian singer examines his relationships with his peers in the music industry, and how most have turned their backs on him since he got locked up.
