Tory Lanez came dangerously close to disaster earlier this month after being stabbed 14 times during a prison brawl—and now there’s footage of the terrifying moment.

Exclusive surveillance video from inside the prison shows Lanez’ attacker, inmate Santino Casio, launching a full-on ambush near a stairwell. The ‘Jerry Sprunger’ crooner ends up on the ground, screaming for help while Casio keeps coming at him, stabbing him again and again.
After the attack, still photos show Tory on his feet but clearly shaken, covered in blood from his face to his torso and clothes. It’s a miracle he walked away from that.
So, why did this even happen? Casio called TMZ from behind bars and tried to explain himself. He claims the word around their cell block was that Tory Lanez had a bounty on his head. Then, when he saw Lanez and noticed a strange lump in his pocket, he assumed it was a weapon—and decided to strike first.
The 42-year-old claims he wasn’t trying to kill the R&B singer, just reacting out of due diligence. But Tory Lanez’ legal team isn’t buying it. They called Casio’s story a total fabrication and pointed out he’s serving a life sentence for murder—not exactly the most reliable witness.
They also took the opportunity to double down on Tory’s innocence in the Megan Thee Stallion case. According to them, new evidence has come to light that proves Tory wasn’t the one who pulled the trigger.
