The United States Senate race is well underway, and Beto O’Rourke, who has operated as U.S. Representative for Texas’s 16th congressional district for five years, is vying for the Texas representative slot in an attempt to unseat Ted Cruz. October 28th O’Rourke received a big-time endorsement from a rap star when Travis Scott popped up next to him at a rally in Houston.
Travis spoke a few words at the rally supporting the 2018 Democratic candidate. “All the kids, we just need to go out, hit these polls,” he shouted to a crowd that presumably included some first-time voters. “We can change the world, man.”
“Starts with the yungins,” Travis captioned the post, which includes an image of him gripping a bullhorn at the rally.
O’Rourke appreciated the support he got from Scott and former Houston Texans running back, Arian Foster, who also showed up to the rally. “Houston’s @trvisXX and @ArianFoster! Big thanks to both,” O’Rourke tweeted.
