Travis Scott has stayed pretty quiet as of recent. The Houston rapper will soon flood movie theatres when Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey releases this summer, but til then not much has been happening. The one notable appearance came when he popped out to perform with Kanye West at his SoFi show in Los Angeles. Now, another appearance could happen, this time, across the country.
Why Are Travis Scott And Kanye West In The Same Country On The Same Weekend?
Allegedly, Scott is making an appearance at an Istanbul club on May 31st. Kanye West has his show in Istanbul on May 30th at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium. With guest appearances, artists usually don’t tip fans on who they’ll bring out, but this could be a smoking gun…or Scott is just doing some business.
Naturally, fans had their theories and shared them wide and far.
“Travis booking a tiny boutique club gig at Tersane Grand Factory exactly 24 hours after Ye’s massive tour opener is pure dynamic cope,” one user posted. “He’s literally trailing behind his mentor to act as a localized afterparty DJ.”
“I’m not expecting Travis to guest on Kanye’s stage, and I don’t give it even a gram of possibility,” one user posted. “If you can watch Travis with 9-10 thousand lira tickets one day before the club night, why would they sell DJ night tickets for 25-30 thousand? That wouldn’t be such bad business. I mean, IN MY OPINION, it’s not a rumor, it’s a guess.”
“Is the collab album finally coming?,” another user posted.
Neither Scott nor West have responded to the speculation.

What Else Has Travis Scott Been Up To?
Travis Scott has stayed mostly out of the spotlight this year, though he did sit down with Rolling Stone to talk about his new album. In the interview, he swears he’s going to put his heart and soul into it.
“The person that still doesn’t understand Trav no matter how long I’ve been in this s***,” the rapper told Rolling Stone when asked who the album is for. “It starts with having a ‘full vision.’”
Scott also recently linked with Playboi Carti for their music video “Crush.”
