The long fabled Kanye West album Yandhi has haunted fans for years. Considered one of the best and most lore-driven Hip Hop albums of the 2010s, there’s a few songs fans have been waiting to hear in full. Now, it appears they may get their wish, but it’s not the version they expected.
What Did Ty Dolla Sign Play On Stream?
While previewing songs on a social media livestream, Ty Dolla Sign played some familiar snippets of “New Body,” a long-clamored for unreleased collaboration between Kanye West, Nicki Minaj and himself. The song has been stuck in limbo since 2018, as it’s reported Minaj has refused to allow it’s release.
However, near the end of the clip, a woman’s voice begins to rap, but it’s not Nicki Minaj. It sounds like a rapper with a signature New York drawl, but not Minaj’s. In fact, fans have speculated that Ice Spice replacing Minaj may get the song finally cleared for the upcoming deluxe version of Bully.
While it’s unconfirmed if Ice Spice is indeed the feature heard for a split second, it would make sense. Kanye West and Ice Spice have never officially teamed up. However, they’ve been linked before. In 2024, the Breakfast Club reported that Kanye West said Ice Spice’s team refused to clear her verse for “New Body.” West also reportedly said the verse was “in.”
Fans will find out if “New Body” sees the light of day on July 19th, when the deluxe version of Bully is expected to drop.

What Else Is Going On With Ye?
On his website, two new concert dates added to his diminishing schedule. Kanye West is scheduled to perform back in his hometown of Chicago in a two show stint. On September 3rd and 4th, Ye will head to Soldier Field for his first concert at the stadium since 2021.
So far, Chicago government officials have not commented on West’s expected tour dates. He’s also scheduled to perform at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay this summer, and San Antonio, Texas.
Internationally, West is also scheduled to perform in Spain, Albania, and other countries.
