There seems to be trouble brewing between two former Odd Future members. That being Frank Ocean and Tyler, The Creator.

Fans began to speculate that there was friction between the two hitmakers. Especially after Ocean was not featured on Tyler, The Creator’s latest album, Don’t Tap The Glass.

New Report Suggests Tyler The Creator & Frank Ocean Fell Out

A recent report from AllHipHop confirms what many were thinking. Tyler and Frank have fallen out over old vocals. A legal move that the outlet calls “the straw that broke the camel’s back in their relationship.”

“Sources close to the situation say a cease-and-desist from Frank Ocean over the use of his old vocals might’ve been the straw that broke the camel’s back. Seriously, legal threats between friends are a big issue,” the outlet writes.

Another interesting nugget in this entire saga was one of Tyler, the Creator’s recent feature verses. He appeared on Clipse’s album, Let God Sort ‘Em Out, which dropped on July 11. One of the songs on the album that has been brought to the forefront is P.O.V.,  on which Tyler appears.

He had some interesting lyrics in his verse.

“Little feature, n***as threaten to sue me? / Tell your lawyer to set the fee,” Tyler raps

He also adds:

“The curse of the zeros, where you become the devil. Or the tap dancing negro. I’ve come to terms with the fact that I’ll probably outgrow my hero.”

Fans perceived this to be a shot at Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, who took aim at the rap star earlier this year. Or perhaps Drake, who filed a lawsuit against UMG over his hit record, Not Like Us.

However, after seeing all of the buzz, Tyler, the creator, later clarified that he wasn’t talking about Drake or Kanye. He was referring to a falling out with an “old friend.”

“And an old friend I’ve made music with threatened to sue me over a feature they gave me (so y’all don’t run with a narrative),” he wrote on social media on July 11
