Rap star Rick Ross went viral earlier this month. After fans caught him taking a commercial flight instead of his custom jumbo jet.
Amid the backlash, Ross spoke out and explained why he was flying commercial. The Maybach Music Group founder claimed that he was having new wi-fi installed on his jet. And he chose to take a commercial flight to Colombia, to link up with fellow Miami native, Trick Daddy.
“For the ones who wanna know where my jet is, I obviously didn’t get the memo. It’s being updated with Starlink. You know what Starlink is? Yeah, that’s the half a million dollar Wi-Fi… I chose to fly commercial to Colombia to go party with Trick Daddy,” the rapper said in a recent social media post.

However, Uncle Murda, an associate of his longtime nemesis, 50 Cent, did not hesitate to clown the rap star after it went viral on social media.
In a recent video posted by Akademiks on X, the rapper aims at Rozay. And says that he is “making excuses,” after being “caught lacking.”
“Let’s go, Knicks. Gettin’ off that jet. The black truck is waiting. Meanwhile, Officer Ricky is making up excuses, talking about his jets in the shop,” the rapper says in the video. “Nah, n***a, they caught you lacking, Officer Ricky. You got caught lackin’, n***a,” he said. “Got that n***a Rick Ross explaining himself now, talking about his jet getting WiFi. Don’t start stuttering now, n***a.”
However, fans in the comments section clowned Uncle Murda for flexing a jet that he doesn’t own.
“Just think, @unclemurda clowning @richforever but he’s getting off a jet we all know he didn’t pay for,” one user wrote.
“Ross actually owns the plane tho 😂. Those guys are living off of 50 Cent 😂😂. Clown men too,” a second user added.
At the time of writing, Ross has not responded to Uncle Murda’s comments.
