Momentsintime.com is selling an audio capsule and corresponding lyrics to a series of early tracks of his from late 1990 to early ’91 for a whopping $250K.
The collection includes lyrics and recordings from an abandoned album by Jesse and the Kidz, a group Shakur collaborated with before their project was ultimately scrapped for good. The collection features three tracks where Shakur takes the lead, delivering never-before-heard verses. Though these lyrics have never been publicly released, potential buyers can preview sample sheets of Shakur’s rhymes before purchasing.
This purchase is only available as a private sale, meaning that the buyer would have to take it up with Pac’s estate if they want to release the material publicly.
Keefe D Denies His Involvement in Tupac’s Murder
In less triumphant Tupac-related news, Duane “Keefe D” Davis recently gave his first TV interview since his arrest and claimed his innocence in the West Coast rapper’s murder. Davis, who was arrested in September 2023, spoke to ABC News from the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas and insisted that prosecutors had no evidence linking him to the murder.
However, detectives say their case against Davis is built on what they call his own account of the killing, including his 2019 self-published memoir Compton Street Legends.
In the book (which he also co-authored), Davis describes himself and former Death Row CEO Suge Knight as the “only living eyewitnesses to the deadly confrontation on the Las Vegas strip between the occupants of our two vehicles.”
