Footage Shows Aubrey O’Day Emotional After Diddy’s Arrest
Many people celebrated Combs’ arrest, including former Danity Kane member, Aubrey O’Day. New footage was just released of O’Day finding out about Diddy’s arrest. And she was pretty emotional after
O”day was featured on the July 30 episode of Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind. And the news of Combs’ arrest came out during the taping. And she was pretty emotional about the news.
“Oh my god! Oh my god! Diddy got arrested and taken into federal custody in New York,” an emotional O’Day exclaimed via a transcript from TooFab.
The outlet also adds that O’Day was moved to tears, saying:
“I’m shaking, I’m shaking. I never in my life thought I would see this happen. Never in my life.”
Diddy, Lawyers Up The Pressure Ahead of His Sentencing
Even after a partial acquittal, in what many perceived to be an unwinnable case, Combs remains unsatisfied. Ahead of his sentencing for the prostitution charges, Combs is still fighting to clear his name.
According to a new report from All Hip Hop, updated court documents show that Combs’ legal team has filed a new motion related to Combs’ guilty conviction charges related to his ex-girlfriend and label artist Cassie, as well as another Jane Doe.
They are “demanding either an acquittal or a new trial,” citing that there was not enough evidence to prove him guilty under the Mann Act.
“Sean Combs sits in jail based on evidence that he paid adult male escorts and entertainers who engaged in consensual sexual activities with his former girlfriends, which he videotaped and later watched with the girlfriends. That is not prostitution, and if it is, his conviction is unconstitutional,” the filing reads (via All Hip Hop)
To bring things up to speed, Combs was arrested on racketeering and trafficking charges last September. Prosecutors alleged that the sexual encounters that happened at his now-infamous celebrity parties fit the description of a criminal organization. And with those charges, the Bad Boy Records founder was facing life in prison.
Thankfully for Diddy, he was able to evade the more serious charges of racketeering and trafficking. However, judgment day still looms with the sentencing date set for October 3.
Combs faces up to ten years in prison for the prostitution charges. However, rumors are already beginning to swirl that United States President Donald Trump is “seriously considering” pardoning the Bad Boy Records Founder once he receives his sentence.
The case has ended. But it appears that the drama is just beginning for Diddy. Stay tuned for more updates.
