In light of the new discoveries, fans went off on social media.
“So where was this video before Tory was sent to prison?” one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“So with this kind of evidence how does Tory even get arrested?” another user said.
“The court let him go for 10 years for a lie. Really a shame to America,” a third person said.
Rap Star Blasts Critics
Even five years after the incident and a guilty verdict for Lanez, the incident between the two music stars remains a controversial topic. And Megan is pleading for people to let her move on from one of the darkest periods of her life.
“At what point are Tory and y’all FANS gonna stop lying? How much is the check to keep harassing me? Why is this happening EVERY DAY?” she wrote in the post.
“So one minute he/ yall said I was never shot. So Now y’all are letting him play in y’all face AGAIN and say I was shot but it wasn’t him oh okay…?! I’m sick of this sh-t LEAVE ME TF ALONE!!!!”
Additionally, she challenged those who are skeptical about why Tory never got on the stand to claim his innocence.
“HE AIN’T DARE GET ON THAT STAND AND DENY HE SHOT ME AND THAT WAS HIS CHOICE BECAUSE HE KNOWS HE DID THAT SH-T! IDGAF ABT A BLOG OR A BOT!!! WHY IN TF WOULD ME … MEGAN THEE STALLION HAVE TO LIE ON THIS MF ABT SHOOTING ME!”
