A recent photo of incarcerated R&B star R. Kelly began to make its rounds on Friday (March 13). And of course, you know it went viral on social media.
Updated Prison Photo of R.Kelly Goes Viral
In an updated photo, the Ignition artist posts up, wearing an all-gray sweatsuit with black and white gym sneakers. He is also sporting glasses and is noticeably grayer than the last time fans saw him.

The updated photograph of R.Kelly led to several reactions from users on social media.
“Don’t get it twisted.. People still love R. Kelly’s music like nothing happened,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“And hope that mf STAYS imprisoned. ” We got enough pedophiles running around,” a second user chimed in.
“They had Pied Piper looking like a reverend in that jam,” a third user added.
R. Kelly is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, with over 75 million records sold worldwide and 40 million in the U.S. He has also won multiple Grammy Awards and dominated charts with hits like “I Believe I Can Fly,” which was also featured in the hit movie Space Jam, starring NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan.
But the Chicago native has failed to stay out of legal trouble. And his past finally caught up with him in September 2021. When the “Chocolate Factory” creator was convicted of nine counts of racketeering. Specifically related to him being the head of a sex trafficking ring involving young children.
As a result, he was sentenced to 31 years in prison. His estimated release date is August 15, 2045, when he will be 78 years old.
