The civil assault trial of star producer Metro Boomin began in Los Angeles this week. And it did not take long for a verdict to be reached. On Thursday (September 25), a mere days after the trial began, the Heroes & Villains creator was found not guilty on all four counts he was facing. If found guilty, he would have had to pay damages to his accuser.

Following the verdict, Metro expressed his gratitude for the outcome of the trial.
“I’m blessed and glad the truth prevailed,” he said as heard through Kurrco on social media.
After Metro was found not guilty, fans rejoiced about the super producer’s vindication.
“A reason for Metro to thank God for the day,” one fan wrote on SX, formerly known as Twitter.
“Aint nobody actually believed metro was guilty,” another user added.
“Tired of these women trying to settle these things in civil court for a pretty penny, now send her to jail,” a third person said.

Metro found himself in the hot seat as he was facing a legal battle over a 2016 incident. One where his accuser, Vanessa LeMaistre, says that the producer sexually assaulted her.
Per Complex, during the trial, LeMaistre described herself as a “medium” who at one point claimed that she had once spoken with Metro Boomin’s late mother.
During the defense’s closing statements on Thursday, they called the plaintiff’s claims “pretty disturbing.”
Metro also took the stand during the trial and spoke out about the accusations that were being made against her. Calling LeMaistre’s claims beyond insulting.
It’s been a tumultuous and eventful last few years for the super producer. Between the tragic death of his mother, a rap feud with Drake, and, most recently, this civil assault trial. With the verdict now behind him, this is one thing Metro can finally put behind him.
