During the COVID-19 Pandemic in 2020, many people were not sure what an economic shutdown would mean for the music industry. But thankfully for hip-hop fans across the world, legendary producer Swizz Beats came up with Verzuz.
Verzuz Set to Return at ComplexCon
Verzuz gave both legendary and contemporary artist a chance to showcase the extent of their music catalogs. As the population began to adapt to a post-COVID world, the popularity of Verzuz decreased and eventually came to a screeching halt. But hip-hop fans can now rejoice as the Verzuz hiatus has officially come to an end.
The ultimate music battle platform will return on October 25. And it will all go down at ComplexCon in Las Vegas. And fans will get to see two more legendary music groups go head-to-head as Master P’s No Limit Records will face off against Birdman’s Cash Money. According to a post from the Verzuz official social media account.
“Verzuz is BACK — live at #ComplexCon Las Vegas. Cash Money #VERZUZ No Limit Celebration One stage. Two legendary, iconic Labels. History is about to be made !! October 25,” the post reads.

Of course, fans went wild with reactions on social media. As they could barely contain themselves following the announcement.
“If Juvenile does Back That A** Up and Mystikal does Shake Ya A**, ComplexCon security better clock out early,” one fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“This ain’t even fair, it’s obviously just for the Vibes & the culture. I’m here for it tho,” another user added.
“Cash Money got HITS! No Limit got hits too, but the quality wasn’t on that level,” a third user said.
Verzuz has hosted some of the greatest music battles in recent memory. Young Jeezy and Gucci Mane, Dipset vs. The Lox, and Scott Storch vs. Manny Fresh are just a few of the classics in the archives. Cash Money vs. No Limit could be on that list as well when it’s all said and done.
