A clip of rap star Mase being called out by a local commuter surfaced on social media on Monday (June 15).
Video of Mase Taking NYC Train Goes Viral on Social Media
In a video shared by MyMixtapezon X, theBeen Around The World creator is seen standing up while riding the train in New York City. And the cameraman doesn’t hold back when calling out Mase.
“Look at Murda Mase right there, broke as hell. Getting on the train like a regular person. No private jets or nothing,” the cameraman says in the clip, which has since gone viral.
Toward the end of the clip, Mase appears to make eye contact with the person recording him. But he just looks him off, and things don’t escalate beyond that.

Of course, more fans had things to say about the incident once the clip hit social media.
“Wtf does having money and taking a train have to do with being broke? When you enjoy life and take care of yourself, you can do what you want,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Sometimes people like reliving chapters of their life? Walk through your old hood, visit your old school,” a second user chimed in.
“If I’m not mistaken, multi-millionaires and billionaires take the train up to Wall Street all the time,” a third user responded.
Mase has not spoken out about the viral clip. But he likely will address it on his and Cam’ron’s daily sports talk show, It is What it Is.
