In a clip that began to circulate online on Friday (April 10), Flocka performs his 2009 record Hard in the Paint. And switches up the lyrics.
In the original songs, the lyrics read:
“See Gucci, that’s my m***********g n***a. I hang in the ‘Dale with them Hit Squad killers.”
However, during the performance, he appears to change the lyrics to “See Gucci .. f**k that n***a.”
However, after Waka’s recent comments, it seems like the clip was blown way out of proportion.
Gucci has become the subject of backlash after the release of his newest song, Crash Dummy. On the track, he references being the victim of an alleged armed robbery committed by several men, including rap stars Pooh Shiesty and Big 30.
Shiesty and Big30 were arrested in connection with the ambush. After authorities claimed that they executed an ambush at Gucci Mane’s studio back in January. In an effort to get him to sign paperwork that would release him from his deal with 1017.
However, after the song was released, multiple artists such as Boosie, 42 Dugg, and Freddie Gibbs have clowned the new track. Especially because of the rumors going around that Gucci acted as an informant to help the police identify Pooh Shiesty and Big30.
