Former 1017 Brick Squad artist Waka Flocka Flame has weighed in on the saga involving Pooh Shiesty and Gucci Mane.
Waka Flocka Sounds Off About Gucci Mane, Pooh Shiesty Drama
In a social media post that has since been deleted, Waka says he sees no reason to “celebrate” the situation involving the Atlanta artist.
“Man, y’all out yo f*****g mind if you think I’m a celebrate wop situation. [Even] if tho we ain’t on one accord…none of my business carrying,” he wrote in a post(via Hot97).
Pooh Shiesty was arrested earlier this week. In connection with an armed robbery that went down in Dallas, Texas, this past January.
Following Shiesty’s arrest, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas Ryan Rabel held a press conference to address the situation.
Rabel says that the feds allege that Shiesty arranged a meeting. Reportedly to discuss the terms of his deal with Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records. Once he was inside the studio, the rapper “executed an armed takeover.” And ordered one of the victims (presumed to be Gucci Mane) to “sign the release of his contract.”
Armed robbery in Texas is usually charged as aggravated robbery, which is a first-degree felony that carries a mandatory minimum of five years and a maximum of life in prison.
And given the fact that Shiesty has previously been hit with weapons charges, he could be staring down a deep hole.
At the time of writing, Gucci Mane has not spoken out about the allegations.
