Seattle Storm guard Lexie Brown has broken her silence about the rumor involving herself, Dallas Mavericks star Klay Thompson, and Grammy Award-winning Megan Thee Stallion.
Lexie Brown Shuts Down Klay Thompson Affair Rumors
The WNBA star took to social media over the weekend. And shut down rumors that she and Thompson had an affair which led to relationship issues between the NBA star and his girlfriend.
Brown acknowledged that she was aware of the rumors swirling around on social media. And vehemently denied any involvement with the four-time NBA champion. She also said that her focus is on preparing for the upcoming NBA season.
“I’ve seen what’s being said online. And I want to be clear, none of it is true. And I have no involvement in this situation,” she wrote. “This week marks the start of an important and exciting new season for me. And my focus is fully on that.”
Over the weekend, the WAP artist confirmed her split from the NBA star. And accused Klay Thompson of cheating.
“I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay,” Megan said in a statement to PEOPLE. “Trust, fidelity, and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward. I’m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.”
At the time of writing, Thompson has not responded to the comments made by Meg The Stallion.
