Lexie Brown Talks Impacts of Klay Thompson Affair Rumors
After Megan made the news of their breakup public, rumors began to swirl that WNBA player Lexie Brown was the woman with whom Klay stepped out. Brown has since publicly come out and denied the rumors.
“Klay and I do know each other because we play professional basketball. I would have considered him a friend. But I do not know Megan Thee Stallion at all. You know, today I’m still the only person who has denied my involvement and claimed that this is 100% false,” she said in a recent interview with Jason Thompson of Fox News.
Brown goes on to say that she expected either Meg or Klay to step in and defend her name while she was being “dragged through the mud,” and was disappointed once that help never came. Especially because both of them know that it isn’t true.
“And the fact that I am still the only one defending my name, I just have no Idea how to process that. And that’s the last thing that I am struggling to process. Is it that there is this massive outcry for protecting black women? And nobody has mentioned Lexie Brown’s name in any of those conversations,” she added.
“I wouldn’t mind if either one of them [Meg or Klay] were in the relationship because, at the end of the day, they are the ones who are in the relationship. They’re the ones who are dealing with this. They are the ones who are communicating with each other. So one of them, if not both of them, knows that it was not me.”
Brown also says that she received threats on her life and health and that he family has also received threats after the rumors went viral.
