Rap star Megan Thee Stallion is still navigating her split from Dallas Mavericks shooting guard Klay Thompson. In the wake of their breakup, WNBA star Angel Reese has voiced her support for the Grammy-winner.

Despite the breakup, it was still business as usual for Meg. As she continued to play her role as Zidler in the Broadway play, Moulin Rouge! The Musical. And at the end of one of her shows over the weekend, Meg was overcome with emotion, seemingly in response to her split from Thompson. After the clip went viral on social media, Reese voiced her support for the rap star.
“It’s the way you show up even while carrying so much—that’s what makes you THAT girl. You always have a little sister riding for you at dawn. I love you, sister,” the new Atlanta Dream star wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Sunday (April 27).

Over the weekend, Meg revealed in a social media post that she had chosen to end her relationship with the Dallas Mavericks star after she allegedly caught him cheating. In the post, she blasted Klay for getting “cold feet” during their relationship.
“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got ‘cold feet,’ ” she wrote in her post, as caught by PEOPLE.
She also added: “Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season, now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous????’ Bitch I need a REAL break after this one .. bye y’all.”
