Ye appears to be ramping up for his next album release, kicking off the rollout with an extremely provocative visual for his new track, Heil Hitler.

The video opens with a jarring scene: a group of Black men standing in military formation, chanting “Ni**a heil Hitler!” Some wear animal skins draped over their heads or shoulders, adding to the unsettling tone.
Lyrically, Ye veers between deeply personal pain and open provocation. “With all of the money and fame, I still can’t get my kids back,” he raps. “With all of the money and fame, I still don’t get to see my children.” Later, he delivers a self-aware, incendiary line: “I became a Nazi, yeah, b***h, I’m the villain.” The song ends with an audio snippet from Adolf Hitler himself — a move sure to amplify criticism.
A previous version of the track reportedly included a diss aimed at Drake, but Ye removed the line. His recent public support for Drizzy — especially amid Drake’s ongoing legal fight with Universal Music Group — may have influenced the edit.
“Yo, I’m so happy right now, you don’t understand,” Ye said in a video posted to X. “With this UMG, Drake, Kendrick situation, Super Bowl, Grammys — this sh*t was driving me and you know where it should be driving me, but this is the biggest victory in music history right here.”
Heil Hitler is expected to appear on Ye’s upcoming album Cuck. The album cover features two figures dressed in Ku Klux Klan robes — another calculated shock move that has already stirred backlash online.
Cuck will reportedly include other controversial tracks, such as Cousins, in which Ye claims he engaged in an incestuous relationship with a cousin during their childhood.
“This song is called COUSIN about my cousin that’s locked in jail for life for killing a pregnant lady a few years after I told him we wouldn’t ‘look at dirty magazines together’ anymore,” the multi-time Grammy winner wrote. “Perhaps in my self centered mess I felt it was my fault that I showed him those dirty magazines when he was 6 and then we acted out what we saw.” The biggest question here is what other songs will be on the album, what other wild content will be in them, and where this album will be able to be streamed whenever it comes out.
As with much of Ye’s recent output, Cuck looks poised to ignite headlines and controversy in equal measure — a strategy he seems to be leaning into more than ever now.
