Ye, formerly known as rap star Kanye West is in the news again. And as usual, it is not for a good reason.
And this time, it could land the Yeezy creator in serious legal trouble.
Kanye West Accused of Trafficking in Latest Filing
In June 2024, West’s former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta filed a complaint which alleged that she had been sexually harassed on several occasions during her time with the company from 2021 to 2023.
Pisciotta has now amended her initial complaint. As she now alleges that the rap star is guilty of assault, battery, sex trafficking, stalking, and false imprisonment, as per documents obtained by TMZ.
The most serious of these charges is the trafficking. Pisciotta says Kanye made “fraudulent promises of career advancement” in exchange for her “acquiescence” to his sexual escapades. She also alleges that he used “force and coercion to obtain compliance with his sexual demands.”
She also says that she was terminated in 2023 for refusing his demands.
In response reps for the rap star told Rolling Stone, however, that Pisciotta was, “terminated for being unqualified, demanding unreasonable sums of money (including a $4 million annual salary) and numerous documented incidents of her lascivious, unhinged conduct.”
This is the second time that Pisciotta has amended her complaint. She previously amended the complaint in October 2024. Alleging that she was drugged and sexually assaulted by the Grammy winner.
The latest filing also alleges the West would make Pisciotta watch him have sex with other women.
“Ye subjected Ms. Pisciotta to obscene comments about her body, demanded she wear tight-fitting clothing, groped her regularly, forced her to watch Ye perform sexual acts with other women,” the latest filing reads.
“He sent her sexually explicit pictures and demanded she do the same, and repeatedly demanded that she join his sexual encounters, which she refused.”
Kanye has yet to respond to Pisciotta’s latest filing.
