Ye Turns Chicago Homecoming Night 2 Into a Star-Studded Career Celebration

Ye’s second Chicago homecoming show turned into a massive celebration of his catalog, his city and the artists who have played a role throughout his career.

The setlist stretched across multiple eras, with Ye performing records including “Homecoming,” “Can’t Tell Me Nothing,” “Power,” “Bound 2,” “Heartless,” “Runaway,” “All of the Lights,” “Flashing Lights” and “Jesus Walks.” The night also featured several guest appearances, making the show feel more like a reunion than a standard concert.

Chief Keef joined Ye for “Don’t Like,” while Big Sean appeared for “Clique.” 2 Chainz came out for “Mercy,” Rick Ross performed alongside Ye on “Devil in a New Dress,” and Don Toliver, Travis Scott, Young Thug, CyHi, GLC, Consequence, Twista, Common and Lupe Fiasco also made appearances.

The show also included a Lil Durk tribute and voicemail before “All My Life,” adding a more emotional moment to the evening.

One of the biggest surprises came later in the show when Kid Cudi joined Ye for “Father Stretch My Hands” and “Ghost Town” before performing “Pursuit of Happiness.” The night concluded with “Runaway,” bringing an expansive Chicago homecoming set to a dramatic close.

With a setlist spanning Ye’s earliest classics through his more recent material, Night 2 served as both a hometown celebration and a reminder of just how many artists and eras are connected to his musical legacy.
