The Red Bull Freestyle Cypher has become a hotbed for artists to express how they really feel about their rivals. The latest artist to throw their hat in the ring is YG. He appeared to target rap star, Offset when he stepped into the booth on Wednesday (November 12).
YG Appears to Call Out Offset in New Freestyle
YG appeared to aim at the Migos star using Offset’s past relationships as a double entendre. Name-dropping Offset’s estranged wife Cardi B and her new beau Steffon Diggs. As well as Offset’s rumored ex-girlfriend, Saweetie, with whom YG is currently in a relationship.

Rumors began to swirl that it was because Offset was in a romantic relationship with Quavo’s ex-girlfriend Saweetie. However, during a recent appearance on This is Keke Palmer, Offset dispelled those rumors. Noting that the rumor was just that — a rumor.
“No, man. It was a rumor, man. And I feel like it was something deeper than that for the split between me and bro,” he explained. “I don’t really want to touch on [it], but it’s something deeper than that. I think that was a thing that–a bug that I heard. I think people were trying to tear my situation down in that situation.”
