On Thursday, Lyrical Lemonade announced Thugger will share the spotlight with Don Toliver, Yeat, and Future as co-headliners for the Chicago-based hip-hop festival.
This marks Thug’s third major booking since securing a plea deal in the YSL RICO trial to avoid prison time.
Last month, Les Ardentes music festival announced that the Atlanta rapper will headline the event this summer in Belgium. Additionally, Thug is also booked for Switzerland’s Openair Frauenfeld, further cementing his comeback on the international festival circuit.
Thug Fuels Album Rumors on Social Media
Thugger has been making waves on social media amid speculation about his next album. During Tuesday night’s Miami Heat vs. Golden State Warriors game, he was spotted courtside, revealing a custom jersey with the name “UY Scuti”—a reference to the largest known star in the universe. The next day, Jeffery followed an Instagram account named after the same celestial body. Adding to the intrigue, Future posted the exact same phrase in all caps the following night, leading many to believe a collaboration or announcement could be on the horizon.
Thug continued to entertain the online rumor mills in a post on X by laying out his terms for releasing the project.
“Yall mfers goin have to beg me to drop this s**t nocizzy” he said.
With his festival performances locked in and social media buzzing, all eyes remain on Young Thug as he continues to shape the next chapter of his career.
