Young Thug appears to have some explaining to do. On Wednesday (August 27), audio leaked of an interrogation involving the rap star. And in the clip, he appears to be cooperating with the authorities, naming Lil Wayne and his YSL Affiliate Peewee Roscoe.
Young Thug Appears to Tell on YSL Affiliate in Leaked Audio
In the leaked audio clip, Thug appears to imply that PeeWee Roscoe was the person who shot at Lil Wayne’s tour bus during an incident that occurred in Atlanta in 2015.
“This m**********r Wayne from New Orleans and I’m from Atlanta. This n***a was in Atlanta while I’m in New Orleans. I said What the f**k? That was so weird. Ya’ll done shot at this n***a tour bus,” he says in the audio clip via Kurrco on X.
“I honestly don’t know who did it. They said Roscoe did it. But I don’t want to block out ya’ll case by saying Rosoe ain’t the one that did it. But I don’t know because every day he broke the f*****k law. I don’t know. I honestly don’t know.”

After the audio of Young Thug’s interrogation was released, fans on social media went scorched earth on the rap star.
“Two hours?? Bro folded quicker than a Chipotle burrito,” one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Looks like Spider got everyone caught in his web,” another user added.
“This is even worse than Gunna because he had folks turning on him for that. At the same time, it’s hilarious,” another person said.
One reason that fans were particularly critical of Young Thug is because of his behavior toward his former YSL affiliate Gunna after his release.
Gunna was a part of the initial indictment when the feds swept up several YSL affiliates in July 2022. But he only spent about six months behind bars. He entered an Alford plea. Under such an agreement, Gunna admitted guilt while also maintaining his innocence, allowing him to be released.
However, Young Thug has appeared to call him out as a “rat” on several occasions.
Gunna’s latest album, “The Last Wun,” is expected to be his final release under the YSL label.
