YoungBoy Never Broke Again is pulling out of this weekend’s Rolling Loud festival in Orlando.
The Baton Rouge rapper told fans on Thursday (May 8) that he appreciates their support after announcing he won’t be hitting the stage. “I just need some time away from traveling and performing right now,” he wrote via Instagram Stories.
Shortly after, Rolling Loud reposted the message and announced Ken Carson as the festival’s new Sunday headliner.
The rapper has endured through a hectic year behind the scenes, including the addition of his 13th child, the recent shooting of NBA affiiliate Ben10, all amid a demanding 45-date tour schedule.
And it all comes in the aftermath of some deeply concerning posts NBA YoungBoy shared last December. In one message, he admitted, “My life literally perfect, I’m just not happy.” In another, he wrote, “I want drop the album then die.”
Hope NBA YoungBoy gets the rest he needs.
