Fat Joe Says He Places Prodigy On The Mt. Rushmore Of Hip-Hop

As we all morn the recent death of Mobb Deep emcee Prodigy many figures in Hip-Hop are remembering Prodigy in a testimonial type of format. Fat Joe has collaborated with the late emcee most famously on LL Cool J’s “I Shot Ya (Remix)”.

Fat Joe credits Mobb Deep for the resurgence of the hardcore New York sound and says that he has never seen his Instagram flooded with one person as the subject of post like he saw when Prodigy passed.

Fat Joe also tells Mass Appeal that he places Prodigy on the Mt. Rushmore of Hip-Hop and reminds everyone that we are on borrowed time.
