50 Cent just made a major move to support domestic violence victims.
According to a Thursday (March 26) report from AllHipHop, the Get Rich or Die Trying recently made a $500,000 donation. In an effort to support nine Shreveport nonprofits that support domestic violence survivors. His 2025 Netflix documentary Sean Combs: The Reckoning inspired the move.
“The idea of making a donation to these organizations that came along with producing the documentary for Netflix, and I said I would donate proceeds to domestic violence,” 50 Cent said.

So the funds will be dispersed to nine nonprofits located in Shreveport:

The Fountain’s Community Development Corporation
Families Helping Families Region 7
Elle Foundation
Moms on a Mission
Best 13
MLK Community Development Corporation
MLK Neighborhood Association,
Northwest Louisiana Youth Golf & Education Foundation.
During a ceremony at the Martin Luther King Development Center in Shreveport on Wednesday, Fif spoke about the connection that he has to the community.
“I didn’t say where I would make the donations, but I like Shreveport. And the dollars that we’re giving to these particular nonprofits will go directly to people. That’s how impactful this is,” he said.
Sean Combs: The Reckoning is a film that does a deep dive into the years of crimes committed by the Bad Boy Records founder. It also included statements from several of his alleged victims and the abuse that they endured over the years.
Diddy was convicted of interstate trafficking. And sentenced to 50 months in federal prison. His scheduled release date is April 2028.
