50 Cent has been making headlines recently but not for music. Now, it appears Fif has some new music in store with to legends…somehow.

What Is 50 Cent’s Music?

During an interview with Today, he revealed his new song.

“I got some new music that I’m working on with Eminem and Tupac,” 50 Cent told the baffled hosts.

He then clarified how he could make a song with the long deceased legend.

“His estate, it’s not ai, actually it’s for the theme for Street Fighter the movie,” 50 Cent said. “And then we worked on it and got it right. [It drops] soon, it’s coming out shortly.”

Interestingly enough this won’t be the first collaboration 50 Cent or Eminem have had with Tupac. For the movie, Tupac Resurrection, 50 Cent and Tupac’s estate produced a track called “The Realist Killaz.” That relationship endured, leading to a couple other collabs including the title track for Pac’s 2004 posthumous album Loyal To The Game, and the Still Down 2015 remix with Pac, Jon B, and 50 Cent.

Over a decade later, 50 and the estate have stayed on good terms, leading to this collab.

Meanwhile, Eminem also did a song with Pac for the Tupac Resurrection film (“One Day At A Time”) and two more for Loyal To The Game.

It’s the first collab between Fif and Em since 2019’s “Remember The Name.”

The rumors began when Eminem and 50 Cent sat together courtside in Detroit for game 5 of the Detroit Pistons and Cleveland Cavaliers playoff series. While some fans brushed it off as a nice reunion, others speculated it could mean something more.

X user Diverse Mentality laid out a theory that he claims is backed up by trusted sources. The theory has two avenues. One where it could be just the two rappers happen to be in the same city. The other the beginning of a rollout of something fans have been clamoring for years.

“[50 Cent and Eminem] could be shooting the [50 Cent] Hulu documentary in Detroit,” Mentality said. “But what I think is they’re preparing a soft launch for their collab album. I’ve been told there’s a collab album coming. My source is very very accurate. Plans do change, but what I’ve been told is Em and 50 have a collab album that’s either being worked on or is completed…But my source says there’s something [musically] coming from those two, whether it’s an album or songs for the Street Fighter 2 soundtrack. Something is going to come out of this musically.”

He was kind of right, though he threw out several theories to cover his basis. As for why Tupac’s estate wanted unreleased material to theme the new film…that’s unclear. It seems the track is an unreleased version of “Ambitionz As A Ridah”, titled “Ambitionz As A Fighta.”
