Rap star 50 Cent is set to perform at President Donald Trump’s son’s MAGA Only club, according to The Daily Beast.
50 Cent Set to Perform at Donald Trump Jr’s Club
Per the outlet, the performance is set to take place this Friday (July 3) at the Executive branch, a Georgetown Club co-owned by Donald Trump Jr., as part of a celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.
However, 50 isn’t the only rapper set to perform at Don Jr’s club this weekend. 50’s longtime nemesis, Ja Rule, is also set to perform, as well as Busta Rhymes and Timberland.
50 Cent’s ties to Trump are public information. In fact, he has claimed to use their relationship as leverage when his longtime nemesis Sean “Diddy” Combs requested a presidential pardon amid his 50-month prison sentence.
But 50 Cent has not always kept the same energy. When he visited Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club in 2024, the hosts grilled him over rumors that he was offered an undisclosed amount of money to perform at that year’s Republican National Convention. As well as $3 million to perform at Trump’s Rally at Madison Square Garden.
50 confirmed that those offers were extended to him. But he ultimately declined because he is “afraid of politics.”
“I’m afraid of politics, you understand? I do not like it,” he said as caught by Billboard. “It’s because when you do get involved in it, no matter how you feel, somebody passionately disagrees with you. Look, if you say ‘I stay away from religion,’ I stay away from politics. Religion, that’s the formula for the confusion that it sent Kanye to Japan. He said something about both of those things, and now he can only go to Japan. So you know I’m like, I don’t want to get in that, man.”
