Rapper 50 Cent is once again at the center of controversy — this time for taking aim at Tina Knowles, the mother of global superstar Beyoncé.
The situation unfolded after Ms. Tina reposted photos from Tameka “Tiny” Harris showing love and support amid online ridicule from 50 Cent. The Queens rapper had previously attempted to embarrass Tiny on social media, prompting fans and supporters to rally behind her.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, 50 Cent shared a photo of Ms. Tina Knowles with the caption: “I’m not gonna do it, 🤔 but shit is getting weird. little fucked up albino kids, Grandmothers getting involved. WTF LOL @bransoncognac.” The post quickly sparked backlash for its tone and language.
He followed up with another deleted post featuring a GIF of actress Vivica A. Fox, captioning it: “These rap 🥷🏽 soft, you gotta watch out for these killers. They will get you in the elevator LOL 😆 @bransoncognac.”
While 50 is known for his trolling antics online, critics say targeting family members — particularly elders — crosses a line. As of now, neither Ms. Tina Knowles nor Beyoncé has publicly responded to the posts.
