Kodak Black continues his campaign of philanthropic efforts after paying rent for residents at the Golden Acres housing projects.

The generous act was highlighted in a social media post over the weekend:

“He may not want the limelight, but for the 2nd month straight @KodakBlack has paid the rent for over 200 residents in Golden Acres the entire projects! A lot of people shine light on the negativity. I’ma see how many people share the positive things you do fam. You’re a blessing to a lot of people. Thank you!!”

The Many Kind Acts of Kodak

Kodak Black, born in Pompano Beach, has a well-documented history of charitable giving and community outreach. In 2022, he made a significant impact by stepping in to help 28 families who were facing eviction due to unpaid rent. In addition to outstanding balances, he also paid their rent for the following several months.

“28 Families Was Bout To Get Evicted For Being Behind On Their Rent A Few Months,” Kodak explained in a post at the time. “I Paid What They Owed And Also Paid Their Rents For The Next Few Months So They Good For The Remaining Of The Year.”

In 2021, Kodak Black donated 100 air conditioning units to families in his hometown to help them battle the intense Florida heat.

But his humanitarian efforts don’t stop in Florida. The rapper has also extended support to Haiti, his ancestral homeland. In 2022, he sent thousands of cases of water to communities suffering from the devastating impact of gang violence and water shortages.

Kodak previously stated that he wants to be known as more of a philanthropist rather than a gangster.

“I don’t give a f—k about that s—t you heard me? I don’t live for that,” he said on an Instagram Live. “I’m a philanthropist, a good n—a , righteous, all that. I only worry about being a good son and making sure my mom is proud of me. Making sure my family proud of me.”
