Combs became upset after discovering that his former girlfriend and label artist, Cassie Ventura, had begun dating Cudi during a break in their relationship.
Cudi testified that once Diddy found out, he received a phone call from a flustered Cassie, warning him that Diddy had found out about their relationship.
Cudi also says once Diddy discovered they were dating he received another interesting phone call. One of Diddy’s employees informed him that the music mogul had entered his residence.
Cudi testified that once he received the phone call he phoned Diddy to ask him whether that information was true. Combs then confirmed that and warned Cudi that he was in his house waiting for him.
Cudi also testified that once he returned to his residence he discovered that his dog had been injured and locked in the bathroom. He also was looking for Diddy but he had already fled the home before Cudi’s arrival.
“I wanted to confront him,” he testified. “I wanted to fight him.”
Diddy is facing a slew of charges as the feds believe he has been the head of a criminal organization for over two decades. But the charge that prosecutors have continued to harp on is the federal racketeering charge. Several witnesses have already come forward to confirm that they were victims of both physical and sexual abuse.
If Diddy is found guilty he could be facing life in prison.
