Following Cudi’s recent testimony in Diddy’s high-profile sex trafficking and racketeering trial, Thug took to X (formerly Twitter) with a now-deleted post.
“Dam cudi a rat lol,” Thugger wrote, sparking instant backlash and debate across social media.
Young Thug’s is certainly an unpopular opinion with fans and critics alike jumping into the conversation, questioning whether Cudi’s courtroom appearance really counts as snitching — especially considering the Man on the Moon rapper has never claimed ties to street life or the code that comes with it.
Kid Cudi — real name Scott Mescudi — took the stand on Thursday (May 22), delivering testimony that played like a scene out of a thriller. He told the court that he started dating Cassie in 2011, and that things took a turn once Diddy found out.
“Cassie called me around 5:30 or 6 a.m. She told me Diddy had found out about us and asked me to come pick her up. She sounded stressed and scared — so I got her out of there,” Cudi told the jury.
Cudi says he brought her to a hotel for safety, but the situation didn’t stop there. Later that night, he claimed a friend called warning that Diddy had broken into his crib. When he showed up, he found his family’s Christmas presents ripped open — and his dog locked in the bathroom.
The testimony added another explosive layer to Diddy’s ongoing legal drama, as several witnesses have already come forward to confirm that they were victims of both physical and sexual abuse.
If Diddy is found guilty he could be facing life in prison.
