Hip-Hop veteran Warren G joined Shannon Shape’s podcast recently and shared his thoughts on the ongoing feud between Jay-Z and Damon Dash.
Warren G believes that Jay-Z, as a billionaire, has the ability — and the responsibility — to help mend fences with his former Roc-A-Fella partner. “If I was in Jay-Z’s position, even though me and this guy ain’t getting along or whatever, we got history. I’ll try to figure out some type of way we can mend it,” Warren said.
He added, “Jay-Z is a billionaire. If I was a billionaire, I’d be like, ‘Look, take this. Now, if you lose that, then something ain’t right.’”
Warren G’s comments highlight a sentiment shared by many in the Hip-Hop community who feel that Jay-Z could use his wealth and influence to support Damon Dash and possibly resolve their longstanding differences.
