The Super Bowl will take place this Sunday (February 6). But before the big game, the best players in the league took part in the NFL Pro Bowl Games. Among the participants was Philadelphia Eagles star, Jalen Hurts.
Jalen Hurts Endorses NBA Youngboy to Headline Halftime Show
During his media availability, the Eagles star was asked who would be his choice to headline the Super Bowl halftime show. And he surprised a lot of people with his answer. “YoungBoy, he’ll turn it up for sure,” Hurts said.
The Eagles star has developed a reputation as a young guy with an old soul. I mean, he still sports a Kangol hat. So his being a YoungBoy fan was a surprise to everyone.
“I’m surprised Jalen ain’t say Earth Wind and Fire or sum sh*t,” one fan wrote in the comments section of the social media post.
“You wouldn’t expect Jalen to say YB,” a second user chimed in.
“Wouldn’t expect that answer from Jalen lol he usually buttoned up,” a third user chimed in.
NBA Youngboy was recently crowned the Greatest Rapper Alive by Complex. And it is easy to see why.
His most recent project, Make America Slime Again (MASA), sold 50,000 units in the first week. And debuted at sixth on the Billboard Hot 200. The accompanying tour for the album grossed over $70-$75 million in revenue. The tour sold over 500,000 tickets across 42 sold-out shows in late 2025, placing it among the highest-grossing rap tours of all time.
So it is clear that he has enough motion to be considered as a Super Bowl Headliner.
