Minaj Addresses ‘Cancelled’ Allegations
On Wednesday (March 18), one of the Barbz posted a recent stat about the rap star recently gaining 10.1 million daily streams on Spotify. And in her response, she clapped back at her critics.
“Winning is the new canceled. Thank you, Barbz. Love you. For LIFE,” she captioned the social media post.

Minaj has aligned herself with the Trump administration over the past couple of months. In January, she declared herself his “number one fan” and appeared with him at a Treasury Department event to support the “Trump Accounts” initiative.
During a sit-down with Erika Kirk at the 2025, Minaj addressed the backlash over her support of the Commander in Chief. And she didn’t seem to be phased at all.
“The other people, they’re the ones who are still just disgruntled. But really, they’re just disgruntled with themselves. They are angry with themselves, you guys,” she continued. “So you can’t wake up and think about somebody who is determined to just stay mad. I literally tell them, ‘Stay mad.’ ‘Cause we’re going to stay joyful and peaceful and iconic and smart. And we’re going to stay thinkers in a world that doesn’t want us to think. We will think. By ourselves, on our own. We will continue to think.”
Minaj was set to release a new studio album this month. However, amid a contract dispute with her label, that date has now been pushed back indefinitely.
