50 Cent is the king of trolling on social media. And never misses the opportunity to capitalize on a viral moment. So, of course, he had to weigh in on the current situation involving Memphis rapper, Pooh Shiesty.
50 Cent Reacts to Pooh Shiesty’s Arrest
TMZ confirmed that the Back in Blood creator, born Lontrell Denell Williams Jr., was arrested in a report on Thursday (April 2). His father, Lontrell Denell Williams Sr, was also arrested. And 50 Cent appears to be baffled by the entire situation. And questions the validity of the discoveries made by the feds.
“Stay tuned for this week s episode of who told them that,” the rapper wrote in an Instagram post on Thursday.
Pooh Shiesty was arrested by the Feds on Wednesday. In a press conference on Thursday, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas Ryan Rabel held a press conference. And confirmed that Shiesty, rapper Big30, and Shiesty’s father, Lontrell Denell Williams Sr were among nine individuals being charged. With executing an armed Robbery in Dallas, Texas, in January.
The feds allege that Shiesty spearheaded an armed robbery. And forced one of the victims to “sign the release of his contract.” The feds have not released the names of any other victims. However, it is a well-known fact that Shiesty is under contract with Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records label.
Armed robbery in Texas is usually charged as aggravated robbery. Which is a first-degree felony, that carries a mandatory minimum of five years and a maximum of life in prison.
It also doesn’t help that the rap artist is a repeat offender.
In January 2022, Shiesty pleaded guilty to a federal firearms conspiracy conviction, stemming from a plethora of incidents involving drug trafficking and violent crimes. In October 2025, he was released after being credited with time served and good behavior.
