After the clip spread online, the rapper explained his reaction during a livestream, saying he’s not comfortable with strangers creating or sharing images of his kids. He also accused the artist of using his family for “clout” and warned against using his children’s likeness in the future.
“I’m not into grown men painting pictures of my daughters,” he said. “I don’t play like that.”
DaBaby later clarified it wasn’t about disrespecting the artist, but about setting boundaries and protecting his children—adding he won’t accept artwork of them in public settings like clubs.
The situation sparked debate online, with some fans backing his stance as a father, while others felt his response went too far.
