However, many fans saw the irony of a battle between the two rap stars. After all, it was Drake’s refusal to clear a verse for French’s track, Splash Brothers, that ignited a feud between him and Rozay back in 2024.
Some fans even dubbed the event the battle of who has the hottest Drake features. Records like Stay Schemin and Pop Them are some of the hottest songs in their catalogs.
But Ross has never felt shamed by continuing to spin his Drake records during his performances. He says that people shouldn’t make too much of it. Because it’s just his way of paying homage to the art that he has created in the past.
“I’m a real n***a. And being a real n***a, you never change your past. The music I’ve created in the past, I could never change. And I’ve enjoyed it, and I’m going to still enjoy it,” he said when he recently appeared on Thoughts in A Culli. “Can’t know, lame n****a or no n***a having differences make me not enjoy something that I was a part of. So that’s that. I control how it goes from here on. That’s what the boss decides. “
Who are you picking in the Verzuz?
